We were commissioned to create a visual system for a musical campaign inspired by Warren Maxwell's songs at Wellington's Bats Theatre. Our motion graphic centers on the song “Nature of Man,” drawing influence from a scene in “Princess Mononoke.” The narrative follows a man consumed by anger, which manifests as grotesque worms on his skin. We use a bold red and black color palette to convey themes of anger and intensity, reflecting strong emotions. Our illustrative style features rough textures, targeting young audiences who appreciate contemporary music and film.
